My computer power chord is BROKEN!! I don't know how this happened!! As I type I'm on "reserve" power and it's gonna go out any sec- Just letting u know I will hopefully have a new chord tomorrow-Cross ur fingers that they'll have one in stock!!AHH!!

Here's what happened to me: my cord had been ripping for a while, but I'd kind of put it back together by pressing it together and it would work again...then one day I was using it (yes it's an Apple MacBook) and I smelled burning and the tip started burning and smoke came out of the cord. long story short, I was in line at the Apple store about to pay 120 or some ridiculous amount (everything there is so overpriced!) for a new cord, when the guy saw my cord and asked me what happened...I told him what happened and he said it wasn't my fault and they had to give me a new one...so explain it that way to them and you should get a new one for free. also, if you have any cracks on the edges of your book (that tends to happen...like pieces of plastic tearing off) you can get a brand new cover w/ keys, pad, etc...I just got one yesterday, lol. all this and I'm not even under warranty anymore! let me know what happens. ciao!
Oh no!! Good luck getting a new cord. How in the world did it get broken? That looks awful. I was so distracted with Snoopy at first that I didn't notice the power cord. The power of that beagle is amazing.
