So You Think You Can Dance, Katie Holmes?! Nobody Else Does!!

Everyone kept hyping it up, and it was HORRIBLE!
I read that she's been training in dance for a full year- Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta Jones trained WAY less than that for 'Chicago', and they were AMAZING!
She "moved" more than she actually danced, and her singing was way weak.
Watch Mrs. Tom Cruise's Judy Garland tribute on So You Think You Can Dance?(above).
Thoughts???
It was pre-taped and I think Xenu would agree with me when I say, she SUCKED!
More disappointing than'Transformers'! I didn't think that was even possible!

Amen sister! My jaw was on the floor while watching it the other night. On the floor because I couldn't they took so much air-time away from real dancers and gave to little Miss-Jazz-Hands-And-Leg-Kicks-Make-Me-A-Dancer! What a waste, of everyone's time.

BLECH!

she needs to retire from public life. completely.

awful that she's given air time when there are so many other truly talented people that should be recognized.

It was completely awful!

The fact that it was taped made it even worse.

Haha, very funny.

Well, maybe because it was for a charity is why the station did it? I think while she said she likes doing it, she didn't claim to be good. LOL Hopefully, no matter how good or bad she is, they'll get some donations to help kids who have dreams that can't be met where they live.

It was taped so corrections and mistakes in her dancing could be fixed. It was taped (lip-synced) because her singing is flat and unemotional, at best.

I think her acting is okay. How far can okay get you unless you're in Hollowwood? (not a typo)

I'm sure she's a nice person. :)

Ok, she is not really dancing but it's not that bad, is it? :)
But I don't want to hear that song ever again. Hallelujah!

Sad to say that we thought the same thing. We thought it was going to be spectacular, and it was really disappointing ... more walking around than anything. And, we kept going back and forth as to whether it was being lip-synched or not?!
